Connecting with Glassboxx
For the last few months, we have been emphasising the benefits of Glassboxx as an effective marketing tool, and have been leading several campaigns across our Glassboxx social media – #eBookWednesday in particular is aimed at involving publishers and authors in the marketing of their titles. We spoke about this in last month’s issue of Connections and it’s something that we’re continuing to work on – in the run up to Christmas, with so many titles jostling for attention, and a less than predictable ebb and flow on the high street, digital titles are set to be popular. We have already seen some impressive sales from titles that have taken advantage of the season – for example, Pavilion Book’s The Pastry Chef’s Guide has seen a surge in popularity, despite being released in April – no doubt due to the return of The Great British Bake Off, and the continuing trend for home baking.
