New eCommerce sites launched with Macmillan Education

Firsty Group is delighted to have partnered with Macmillan Education on the recent launch of three new eCommerce websites for the English Language Teaching and Caribbean curriculum marketplaces.

  1. www.macmillaneducationebooks.com
  2. www.macmillancaribbeanebooks.com
  3. www.cxc-store.com

These first two websites give teachers and students easy access to Macmillan Education eBooks in formats conducive to mobile learning.

The CXC website is a joint project between Macmillan Education and the Caribbean Examinations Council, and combines provision of eBook content on a perpetual access and/or subscription basis, offering past paper exam material to customers in the territory.

‘We’re extremely pleased to be able to open these three new channels to market with Firsty Group, this was a complex project with many stakeholders and a tight timeline. Now the websites are live, we are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Firsty and we’re confident that our customers will value the ease with which content can be accessed and consumed. The websites help to meet growing demand from institutions and individuals – particularly from the Caribbean marketplace – for mobile content.’
David Hyde, (Digital Projects – Lead, Macmillan Education)

‘Working with the project team at Macmillan Education has been a real pleasure. Developing a robust and intuitive eCommerce platform that meets the needs of disparate audiences and which provides a range of buying options in multiple currencies was never going to be easy. The calibre of personnel and clear communication on both sides has, however,  helped us deliver a solution on time and to budget.  There is of course more to do, and we are excited to be continuing our relationship with the team at Macmillan.’
