Talking Audio
With June being audio month, Glassboxx sponsored Book Machine’s Talking Audio event just last week. Hosted by Louise Newton and including Ruth Tross, Videl Bar-Kar and Elise Italiaander as speakers, it was a packed – testament to the success of the industry in adapting to life online! We have seen an increasing shift towards audio, with a peak in audio downloads at the start of lockdown. This, among many other trends, was discussed alongside the future of audio. We came away with a lot of insight – the future of audio is set to become more and more exciting, with new formats, channels and technologies all turning towards this ever changing and fast developing market.
